Once a motor has started a large flywheel helps to harness the energy of the momentum, everything is synchronized and working together to keep it going in the same direction. Like a train heading down the tracks at full speed nothing is going to stop it. In the begining it takes huge amount of effort to get the train moving, it feels almost impossible but once it starts to move it takes even more effort to stop it.

Remember that in any new business, investment of relationship, it does take a huge amount of effort in the beginning. But soon that effort begins to slowly gain momentum and work together. It takes a small positive effort each day. To keep healthy may require a 20 minute walk in the morning and in the afternoon spending twenty minutes doing some weights just forty minutes a day. Now imagine doing this just once a week, you would need to walk for one hundred and forty minutes and then spend another hundred and forty minutes in the gym you get the picture.

There’s another reason for doing something once a day rather than seven times once a week, the daily rhythm starts to change you it becomes part of your part of your routine and as it does it becomes part of who you are.

Each and every incomplete thing in your life exerts a draining force on you sucking you of the energy of accomplishment and success out of you. Every incomplete thing keeps calling you back to the past and keep’s you from moving forward, remember successful people need to look to the future, so do all you can do each day to complete all you can, so that nothing holds you back. Sometimes to move forward requires a lot of effort like the train but never give up until you feel the momentum kicking in. Sometimes it just needs a little effort so just do it now.

A habit is something we do without thinking , getting up early can be a habit, complaining can be a habit. The way a behavior turns into a habit is by repeating it over and over again. Your habits will propel you up the success curve or down the failure curve. To be successful you must be quick to get rid of the habits that can break you and quick to adopt those practices that will become habits that can help him achieve the success he desires. Your habits habits from your daily activities compound over time. Your choices come from habits of thought which are a product of your thinking, which come from the view you have of the world and your place in it – Your Philosophy

Just being busy is not good enough you need to be busy doing the right things. When I first started my home business I was busy all day but did not get much done, it is only as you identify what is important that you start to gain The Slight Edge, completing things that really make a difference to your success, positive little actions each day that give momentum to your dream. At the end of each day make a list of the things you did that actually made a positive difference and took you forward.
