Planning

• Write it down, make it specific and give it a deadline.
• You must look at it every day.
• You understand and pay the price.
• You must have a plan to start and get started.

Something that has helped me over the past is to create a SWOT analysis. It is a brainstorming time were you write down the:

• Strengths
• Weaknesses
• Opportunity’s
• Threats

Strengths

In your online business once you have identified the above you will be able to plan your next objectives. You will always build on your strengths, on the things you love doing and maximize your returns on theses.

Weaknesses

Most weaknesses can be overcome by doing some training or self development, or by employing someone that is skilled in that area. Be aware of what they are and manage them, never ignore them

Opportunity’s

In order to expand any business you need to clearly identify new opportunities and find a way to tap into them. If you can find a niche market to advertise in, or to market too you will enjoy success online.

Threats

In a home business your environment could be a threat, TV, phone, emails, just browsing around the internet and achieving nothing, not committing enough time, these could all be threats to your success. Finances, plan your cash flow and keep track of your expenses. A Google slap could be a threat, so make sure you understand their policy’s and stay within their guide lines. Make an office were these threats can be reduced and you can stay focused on your goals. Keep you workspace, computer and office space tidy.

A plan does not need to be elaborate, but it does need to be written down and started on. Write down your goals for each day each week and each month, remember to review and adjust your plan often like the space shuttle that keeps going off course (errors) and keeps on course by making thousands of adjustments.

“Once you have laid out your plan for success you need to keep focused on it. Your subconscious is by far the biggest distraction you have. Remember when your goals clearly set and kept in front of you each day your life will suddenly rearrange itself, a series of events starts in motion that you could never have predicted or planned to get you there.” The Slight Edge” easy to do and easy not to. Know the price and pay it.

Remember everything you do every desicion you make is either building your own dream or someone else’s dream.
